Flights of Fancy
Saturday, June 26th
Hank Nilsen Model Aircraft Field near Kingsland, TX

Highland Lakes Flyers stages this event as an opportunity for the public to observe radio controlled model aircraft flying activities. Experienced instructors will provide opportunities for kids 16 and younger to take a turn at the flight controls. Continuous flight demonstrations by club pilots, static displays of radio controlled aircraft, refreshments available, free entry.
Annual Swap Meet
Saturday, August 21st
Highland Lakes Flyers' Annual Swap Meet is held at 8347 Ranch Road 1431, Buchanan Dam, Texas, 78609. Entry fee, is $5.00. Doors open at 8:30 AM & close at 4:00 PM. Accompanying spouses & kids under 12 are free. Tables are $5.00 each. Food and refreshments available on site or at nearby restaurants. Open to all interested parties. Bring RC equipment you'd like to sell. There will be an abundance of RC items for sale.
AMA Sanctioned Float Fly
September 18th & 19th
Sponsored by Highland Lakes Flyers, this event is open to all AMA members interested in flying off the water. Flying takes place off the south bank of the Llano River at the City of Llano's Robinson Park which offers an excellent, spot for float flying activities. A small pilot fee is required. No charge for spectators. The public is welcome. Free parking. Refreshments available. Food service available at nearby restaurants. Limited RV hookups onsite, other RV hookups locally.

Shrimp Boil / Float Fly - Saturday, October 16th - 8:00 AM to Noon
Fun Fly at Robinson Park, Llano, TX. Club members, family members & invited guests
Annual Holiday Party - Saturday, December 4th, 2010 - 6:00 PM
Reserve the evening of Saturday, December 4th, and plan to attend the club's annual Holiday Party. Time and place have not yet been determined. While a family affair, members may also invite friends.
